MAPILab Ltd. offers a new version of MAPILab Groupware Server - a solution for organizing team-work on the basis of Microsoft Outlook without using Microsoft Exchange Server.
MAPILab Groupware Server provides shared real-time access to all kinds of Outlook items for the whole personnel, as well as the necessary means for managing access rights for these folders.
In the new version 1.5.0:
The possibility to import domain and local users to the MAPILab Groupware Server users` list is added. Now it is not necessary to create each new user on the MGS separately. The local computer users and users of Active Directory can be added with the help of the new wizard for adding users. This feature simplifies the setup and configuration of MAPILab Groupware Server.
The issue of configuring Windows Vista Firewall during the product installation is fixed; the components of MAPILab Groupware Server are automatically added to the list of Windows Firewall Exceptions.
