Dmailer, a leading software provider specializing in backup and synchronization solutions for external storage drives, today introduced the latest version of its award-winning software product, Dmailer Backup V2.7. Dmailer is the industrys only fully integrated local and online backup solution, allowing multiple profiles across PC or Mac, using a single interface.
Dmailer Backup V2.7 also includes the recently announced online storage service, Dmailer Online, which allows users to safeguard data by backing up secure copies to a remote server. Dmailer Online allows users to secure copies of files online for easy access from any computer and easily manage large files that may take up too much space on traditional storage devices.
Dmailer Backup V2.7 with Dmailer Online includes five major new features:
- Microsoft Outlook Backup - Dmailer Backup now supports PST file backup, which is used to store local copies of messages, calendar events and other items within Microsoft Outlook. Support for PST allows Dmailer Backup users to quickly and easily backup local copies of their email (Microsoft Outlook) in the same manner as they backup text documents, music or video files. This feature allows users to backup and restore email messages to any computer.
- Windows 7 Compatibility - Dmailer Backup V2.7 supports Microsofts Windows 7, allowing users to perform backup and restore functions on devices using this new operating system.
- Fast & Easy Profile Changes - For individuals who use multiple profiles (PC or Mac), Dmailer Backup V2.7 allows users to switch from one profile to another from within the application, simplifying the overall experience.
- Online Folder Sharing - Once users have backed up their data online, Dmailer Online now allows folder sharing for any file or document type. This feature allows professionals to share documents or folders with colleagues as easily as it will allow consumers to share a single photo or an entire album with family and friends.
- One-Click Online Restore - Using any Web browser, users can now restore a single file or an entire folder with one click, at any time. An SSL encrypted connection is made between the browser and online backup for maximum security.
