|HTML mails and DEFANG [message #492982]

a customer sends us a regular email in HTML format.
At the bottom of the mail are a set of radio buttons.
When we view this mail in Exchange (viewed using OWA or the Outlook
client) the radio buttons are missing.
Viewing the source shows that some HTML lines have been "DEFANGED"
If the same e-mail is sent to a hotmail account the radio buttons show
correctly and the source code contains no DEFANGs.
We use McAfee GroupShield and tried removing this to see if it was the
cause but it made no difference.
Exchange servers are running 2003.
I understand that this is a security setting. Is it being enforced by
Exchange? Is there anything I can do to be able to view these
particular mails correctly?
