|Lost Email after Move To Folder [message #473742]

Ok folks got a beauty of a problem and cant find the answer anywhere on net.|
I have recently changed a number of users from POP3 outlook (connecting to Merak) setup to SMTP (using Exchange 2007).
Some users have then since used the "Move To Folder" button and complained that they have lost emails or can no longer find them.
I addressed this with one user and could only ascertain that the some "cached" entries in the drop down list of "Move to Folder" refered back to the old POP3 entries.
I overcame this by using the option several times to remove the "bad cache" entries and the user in the 1st instance didnt mind the lost emails.
However another user has had he same problems and her email is critical and has lost mail going back a few week.
Is appears that the email has dissappeared into never never land.
I have done an "advanced find" but with no joy.
Can anyone provide any insight or a way to recover these lost emails??
PS. the drag and drop and right click "Move to Folder" options work fine.
