I am using outlook 2003 and not on network or excahnge server.
Issue just started - -
I clikc on a shortcut desktop icon for Outlook 2003 - it opens and then a
few moments later it opens a second time. I have not changed any settings or
the like and would like to know what is wrong to open twice (thus having two
Outlooks open)
Thanks for any help.
Are different folders opening in each Outlook window?

Thanks Vince - it appears both "openings" are the same. Opens to the Inbox,
new messages populate inbox, sent messages are in the sent folder, etc.
Bizzare that one click on the shortcut opens Outlook twice. When I close
one, both close. Any other thoughts??

Before receiving BTillman email - I did go to the bottom task pane of one of
the two open versions, right clicked and selected CLOSE. Then normally
clsoed the remaining Outlook version. Rebooted and seems to work fine now.
Strange, but success. Thank you both. Great to have a resource pool of
folks that want and can help!
