Can you tell me setting to stop attachments going to the body of the email.
I only want attachments in the attachment line at the top.

Change the Email Format (under Options) to either HTML or Plain text. Yeah.

With Outlook 2007 when I attach an html file, file is always embedded in
message body. In Outlook 2003 this didn’t happen, and appears attachment line
at the top. What can I do to have this same behavior in Outlook2007 (not
embedded in body message)?
Tks

How are you attaching it? If using the Insert command in outlook, click the
dropdown on insert and choose Insert as text

Oops. Insert as text will embed. By default, Insert will attach, regardless
of the message format.

What message format is in the title bar?
Are you using the default Mail recipient command or did you create your own
send to shortcut?

I can't repro this on my Vista system - the Mail recipient command creates a
plain text message with the HTML attached.
