I use outlook 2007 on a windows xp home sp2 machine. Recently, my replies and
forwards have larger than normal text but appear normal to recipients. When
i attempt to change to Calibri 11pt font, the font size doesnt change to a
normal 11pt font, It stays big. i Have verified that my signatures are set to
the appropriate font and text size but theyre just not being appiled when im
writting emails. Any Ideas?

Go to Tools > Options > Mail Format > Stationery & Fonts button >
change the fonts here.

I'm assuming when you say you "attempt to change to Calibri 11pt
font", you mean in the actual email reply window. The settings above
might override those.

I went there and applied the settings, but it doesn't appear in the right
font and size. It looks as though its 32pt font but the window says its 11pt.
Would a screen shot help?

I found it! It was the zoom setting on the Format Text tab of the message
window. I have no idea how in the heck that got changed. Must have been a
button i pushed on my multifunction keyboard.
