The Woody's Office Watch gang have done it again! This book is well worth the time and attention of any user of Outlook 2000.

Simon's New Book Simply Terrific

Barry Simon's book, "Maximizing Outlook", scores a 5 star rating with me. As a user of Outlook since it's 97 incarnation, I thought I knew all about Outlook. When I started using Office 2000 and the new 2000 version of Outlook, I realized I wanted to know more about this product I use everday. Barry's book really opened my eyes to a lot of features I didn't know were in Outlook 2000. In addition to all the day-to-day features Barry explains, this book illustrates in clear language how take advantage of all the more advanced features found in Outlook 2000. Setting up filters and forms in Outlook, dialing operations and how to use VBA and VBScript with Outlook 2000 are just some of the topics that are thoroughly covered in this easy to read book. No matter what your level of experience with Outlook, Maximizing Outlook 2000 is a book novices and experienced Outlook users alike will benefit from reading.

WOW! The book certainly lives up to its title. Prior to buying this book I was using Outlook just as a simple mail program.... now, due to the books easy approach I find myself using and experimenting just about all of those features mentioned.

Truly another example of how Barry Simon is able to make the most complicated subject so easy to understand!

Optimize and RULE!

Our everyday computer work, either for business or just for personal use, relays on great applications which help a lot. But, in order for an application to satisfy all the users demands, it has to be complex (not to say huge). So it is sometimes difficult to catch all its fine tunes, things that make you accomplish your tasks more efficiently and, why not, more rapidly. In this point of our discuttions we must take a closer look to Barry Simon's book, 'Maximizing Outlook 2000: The Practical Guide to Optimizing Outlook'. The title is self-explanatory: it helps us to achieve that level of work with Outlook, when we can say we are PRODUCTIVE. Better yet, the book helps us to understand the philosophy of the product, so further development of the program will be extremly easy to master. It is an excellent book, a book that I, personally, reccommend for all the people dealing with Outlook.
